American actor Kirk Douglas is to be honored with the presentation of a Golden bear award in February at the 51st edition of Berlin's international film festival, the Berlinale, festival organizers said Tuesday.
Douglas, who will be 84 on December 9, will be the guest of honor at a gala evening on February 16 in Berlin's Potsdamer Platz, where the festival was first held this year.
The 2001 edition of the festival will also feature a selection of Kirk Douglas films. – AFP.
