Lebanese singer Laura Khalil has faced two recent crises.
The first, posters for her scheduled concert were purposely torn down and ripped into pieces, and the second was the circulation of the shocking rumor of her marriage to Lebanese singer Wael Jassar.
An unidentified singer allegedly tore down the posters out of jealousy.
When Laura discovered what had occurred, she broke down in tears. She stated she could not understand why someone would be so cruel and try to deliberately hurt her.
Laura has denied the existence of any romantic relationship between her and Wael.
The rumor of their marriage was created after a live interview was aired of the two. During the interview they were innocently joking with one another, which led to false conclusions.
Laura stressed that she was very hurt by the rumor of her and Wael, especially since she recently ended a very serious relationship.
Rumors claimed that Laura admitted Wael is her true love, but he does not have the characteristics she is looking for in a future husband, mainly because of his lifestyle as a famous singer.
