Mai Izz El Din denies being intimate with Tamer Husni

Young Egyptian actress Mai Izz El Din has denied circulating rumors that an intimate relationship exists between her and Egyptian singer Tamer Husni.

According to the daily Al Rai Al Aam, Mai stated that the news of her and Tamer being in love is ridiculous and the only thing between them is  a strong friendship, and the fact that they are both starring in the same film does not mean they are being intimate with one another.

The actress added that she does not know who is behind such rumors and conspiracies against her, but nevertheless she refuses to waste her time with such lies.

Mai said that having an intimate relationship or getting married is not on her current agenda, and she is only concerned with building her career and becoming the best she can be.

Tamer and Mai are both starring in the film “Omar Wa Salma” and the film is in its final stages. Screening of the film has been postponed for the summer season.

The film "Omar and Salma" marks Tamer’s third and is produced by Mohammad Al Sabki.

The film is directed by Akram Fareed and written by Ahmad Abdul Fatah, and filming locations are between Cairo and Sharm El Sheikh.

Tamer appears as a wealthy man, a change from the characters he played in his previous two films, and will perform at least three songs in the new drama.
