Majida Al Roumi and Amr Diab together in Las Vegas

Music producer Yousif Harb is preparing for an elaborate music festival in Las Vegas featuring Lebanese diva Majida Al Roumi and Egyptian pop-star Amr Diab.
The two day festival will begin on May 26 in the Casino Palace Theater. The first performance will feature Diab and Majeda, and the second will feature Diab and Lebanese singer Mariam Fares, according to the London based Elaph.
Majida’s performance in Vegas is one of three performances she will hold in the US. The first will be held in Detroit, Michigan on May 19 and the second in New Jersey on May 20.
Majida gave the first concert performance ever held in the United Arab Emirate Sharika under the patronage of her royal highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammad Al Qasimi.
According to the London based Elaph, the event titled “Bahibak Ya Lebanon” (I Love You Lebanon) was organized by the Higher Council of Family Affairs, and all the proceeds went directly to the Lebanese people affected by the recent Lebanese-Israeli war.
The event took place on November 9, 2006 at Al Sharika University stadium.
On a different note, ‘I’tazalt Al Gharam’ (I Resigned from Love) was the latest song released by Majida. Written by Nizar Frances and composed by Lebanese singer Milhim Barakat, Majida considers the song a new step in her career.
