Majida Al Roumi to sing in Algeria

It has been officially announced in Algeria that Lebanese diva Majida Al Roumi will hold a grand performance on February 27 to mark her return to Algeria after a three-year absence.

According to the London based Elaph, head of the Algerian association ‘Al Fank Al Thahabi,’ Hamrawi Habib Shawqi, said the concert is part of the awards ceremony held for Al Fank Al Thahbi television.

Hamrawi added that Majida has signed a contract with the company ‘Maghrib Film,’ sponsoring the event.

Majida cancelled a concert scheduled on the same date in Dubai in order to have the opportunity to singer for an Algerian audience after her absence.
Sources revealed that Majida will sing a number of duets with two rising Algerian singers.
