Marwan Khoury refuses to work with Haifa

The Lebanese artist and composer Marwan Al Khoury announced that he refuses to work with the famous Lebanese artist Haifa Wahbi.
Al Khoury said that his style of music is different from hers, but he does not downgrade Haifa’s music by any means.
On the other hand, Khoury believes that the Lebanese superstar Carole Samaha understands him and he always welcomes the opportunity to work with her.
Khoury and Samaha previously worked on a duet together called “Ya Rab” (Oh God).
On other grounds, Khoury made clear that he doesn’t hesitate to take out a rhyme from any artist if he thought he wasn’t able to perform the way the song should be. He said that there are times when other artists sang his rhymes better than he did like for the song “A Az Al Habayeb” (Most Beloved) which was sang by Tunisian artist Saber Al Ribai. The other song which Khoury thought it would be better off sung by another artist is the song “Maqool” (Is IT Possible) which was sung by Lebanese artist Fadel Shaker.
As for his agenda, Khoury is preparing for a collection of projects for various artists like famous Syrian singer Mayada Al Hinawi, great singer Wardah Al Jazairyah, Syrian singer Noor Mhana and other new names. He made sure that he always make sure to work with great singer in the Arab world to accomplish his goals as a poet and a composer and that he works with new face in order to discover new adventures and new ideas.
