The Emirati magazine ‘Buthayna’ is hosting a large celebration next week in Abu Dhabi to award a number of artistz from the Arab World, namely the Syrian singer Mayada Al Hinawi, Lebanese singer Asi Hilani and Bahraini actress Zainab Al Askari.
Zainab Al Askari is thrilled with the award and said that the award is like a message of encouragement to new and rising artists.
According to the London daily Elaph, Mayada will travel to Egypt to record a new song that was composed by Walid Saed. The song is her first produced by ‘Mazika’ music channel, after the agreement was renewed between Mayada and Muhsin Jaber.
Mazika and Zoom channels will host concerts for Mayada in Egypt this summer season.
Mayada is also getting ready to record the song “Baghdad,” composed by the Iraqi artist Kathem Al Saher.
Mayada has sung other nationalistic songs, like “Ya Sham,” “Beirut” and "Sham Al Arab."
