Prominent Egyptian actress Mervat Ameen denied circulating rumors of her marriage to a well-known Egyptian business man.
According to the London based Elaph, Mervat stressed that she is currently extremely busy preparing for her only daughter’s wedding, who is also the daughter of prominent Egyptian actor Hussein Fahmi.
She added that the wedding is scheduled for the end of May and her daughter, Minat Allah, will be marrying Egyptian artist Shareef Ramzi.
Mervat stated that such rumors of her marriage are not new to her, for not so long ago rumors began spreading about her marrying Egyptian businessman Ahmad Izz, whom she has never met in her life.
On a different note, for the first time since her divorce from Fahmi, Mervat is scheduled to join Fahmi in a new television drama titled “Shabab Fil Jam’ah” (Students at the University). The drama is written by Midhat Al Adel and direction by Syrian director Akram Idrees. A group of young actors along with actress Dalia Al Buhairi will costar in the drama alongside Mervat.
