Mina Shalabi staying away from TV drama
The young Egyptian actress Mina Shalabi had decided to stay away from Ramadan television drama this year. Mina had turned down many televisions roles that were offered to her. Many of these offers came to Mina after her success in the television drama series “Harb Al Jawasis” (Spies War), which was aired on television last Ramadan season.
According to the London daily Elaph, Mina has decided to put all her focus on her cinema work, on the new film called “Arousah Helwah” (Beautiful Bride). The filming of Mina’s new film started this February and she is working with the director Maryam Abu Oof. The new film will discuss the issue of being “old maids” and getting married at a younger age.
On the other hand Mina had made an agreement with director Yusri Naser Allah to film her scenes in another film titled “World Trade Center” during the month of April, because by then she’ll be done filming her scenes in “Arousah Helwah”.
