Mirna Al Muhandis’s mother and brother detained for murder and smuggling drugs

Egyptian police forces have arrested Mirna Al Muhandis’s mother and brother on charges of murder and drug smuggling. The mother has been accused of killing her husband, and the brother charged with drug smuggling.

Drug enforcement officials had received a tip that an Egyptian male holding a British passport is smuggling drugs from Holland into Egypt with the help of Mirna’s brother. When police headed to Mirna’s home to arrest her brother they found her mother, who had fled a seven years jail sentence for killing her husband on the claim of self defense during the nineties.

On a different note, Mirna is trying to divide her time between three different television dramas she is shooting the scenes for currently. Mirna revealed that she plans on making up for all the lost time she was away from the acting world, due to her illness. Mirna, who had been experiencing suffering and pain since her childhood, has tried so hard to give all she can for her audience and not allow her illness to overcome her. She has subdued to doctors orders of being transferred abroad to undergo surgery in her colon, in order to return in the soonest time possible to fans and her acting career, which is the love of her life.
 
Mirna revealed that she had been experiencing pain in her abdominal since her early childhood, and was wrongly treated for several years, until finally doctors were able to find out the real cause of her illness.  She underwent surgery in the United States of America and then returned to resume her normal life and took on roles in different television dramas. Despite the fact that she was undergoing so much pain during the filming of most of her scenes, she stood strong not wanting to let her audience down.
