Thirty-four beauties from all over the universe will be participating in the upcoming ‘Model of the World’ event to be held and organized in Lebanon this year, according to Al Anwar newspaper.
The event, which used to be held in Europe before, will take place next Saturday, September 28, at Lebanon’s Regency Palace. Half of the twelve juries at the event will be from Lebanon and the rest from Europe.
Model Sereen Abdul Noor was said to be the only Arab model to participate in the ‘Model of the World’ competition, which is organized by ‘Style Events’ agency owner, Elie Nahas.
Earlier this month and in a new step to open-mindedness, Libya has signed an agreement with a Lebanese businessman to organize the upcoming event of Miss Internet. The son of Libyan President, Saiful Islam al Gaddafi, has backed the idea of organizing the second Miss Internet event, saying that he welcomes any step toward open-mindedness. –Albawaba.com
