The famous Egyptian actor Mohammad Hunaidi has vowed to film two movies every year rather than just one. Hunaidi is being pressured to film two movies a year by movie producers and his fans.
That actor, who is currently filming his new movie “Andaleeb Al Doqi”, stated that he will make two movies every year one to be screened during the Muslim holiday Eid Al Fitr, which is at the end of the holy month of Ramadan ,and the second for the summer.
Hunaidi has many scenarios to choose from, and will pick two to prepare for launch next year. He also adds that he will film the movie “Antarah” denying that the filming of the movie has stopped. He will be traveling between Egypt and Morocco to film it.
Hunaidi will be going back to the theater stage this summer to star in a new play after he’s been away for the past three years. He will start working on the play with producer Isam Imam.
The famous actor also says he will stay away from television even though he is grateful for television since it was where he was discovered. His first television drama series was “Al Bakhil Wa Ana” (the Stingy and I) with the late Egyptian actor Farid Shawqi. Hunaidi noted that acting a television drama is not out of the question and if he finds the right script he will return to the small screen.
The movie which Hunaidi is working on “Andaleeb Al Doqi” is written by poet Ayman Bahjat Qamar, and it will be produced by Wa’el Ihsan. The filming manger will be Iyhab Mohammad Ali. The movie will be the first production for Rotana, and filming of the scenes is scheduled to take place between Dubai and Egypt.
Hunaidi says that his movie will hold many surprises, for one it won’t be a traditional one. His character will be a violent one yet at the same time the film falls under the comedy genre.
The movie revolves around Hunaidi’s character who has a nice voice and sings at weddings but is not liked people which leads him to be depressed. He discovers that he has a twin brother who lives in the Gulf countries.
He travels to him where his whole life has changed. His brother fights his Arabism and hates how the west is taking over the beliefs and life style of the Arab people.
Hunaidi has been filming in many different parts of the world which adds to the success of his movies. In this latest movie he added a violent touch to it, explaining that is the style of films that are on demand in the market.
