Morocco to Embrace Fas International Music Fest

The International Music Festival will be held in the Moroccan City of Fas during the period between May 31-June 8 this year under the banner Masalek al Rouh (Spirit Paths). 

Participating in the event are Morocco, Turkey, US, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, Ireland and Mauritania. 

The festival organizers said that the festival would include a number of songs and musicals promoting peace and coexistence between people regardless of color, race or religion. 

The festival officials allocated the opening day for Turkey as a number of the ottoman musical extracts will be portrayed in addition to varieties from the Negro art showpieces by the renowned American singer Barbara Hendrix. 

Among the artists who will attend the festival are Syrian singer Sabah Fakhri and singer Christina Branco from Portugal -- Albawaba.com
