Young Egyptian artist Muhammad Hamaqi celebrated the signing of his new project “Nawilha” with the Lebanese press at the “Virgin Mega Stores” in the center of Beirut. Hamaqi wanted to show his appreciation to the country that welcomed him at the beginning of his music career and took part in distributing his work.
According to the London daily Elaph, Hamaqi arrived late but was well prepared to answer the journalist’s tough questions. Hamaqi denied there is a conflict between him and the Egyptian superstar Tamer Husni.
Hamaqi was asked if he made amends with Tareq Madqoor only for show, and if there is still a conflict between the two. Hamaqi said that he respects Madqoor, because he played a major part in his art and musical career and that there are no conflicts between the two.
Hamaqi also talked about starting in a new film with the famous Egyptian actress Muna Zaki.
