Muna Zaki denies wearing a ‘Hijab’
Egyptian actor Muna Zaki denied circulating rumors that she has begun wearing a ‘Hijab,’ an Islamic headdress, while attending the closing ceremony of the International Cairo Cinema Festival with her husband, actor Ahmad Hilmi.
Muna even welcomed the opportunity to be photographed at the event with her hair exposed to prove that the rumors are untrue. She does not know who created such a rumor or their aim, said Muna.
The actor is preparing to film a new movie, “Lisa Faker” (I Still Remember), written by Wael Hamdi and directed by Mahmoud Kamel. Muna plays the role of a woman suffering from a mysterious illness causing sever memory loss.
Muna will also star in another new film, “Taymore and Shafiqa” alongside Ahmad Al Sakka. The romantic film, written by Tamer Habib and directed by Khaled Mar’ee, revolves around a couple’s journey to overcome obstacles to their relationship.
It is Muna’s second romance film with Ahmad, the first being “Al Ishiq Wal Hawa” (Love and Romance).
