Muna Zaki runs away from domestic disputes and stars in new film
Egyptian actress Muna Zaki has decided to accept her first leading role in a new film “Khalti Faranca” (Aunt Franca) with Egyptian actress Abla Kamil, in an attempt to come out of the depression caused by reoccurring problems with her husband Ahmad Hilmi.
According to the Egyptian based daily, Al Akhbar, the new film revolves around two orphaned sisters from a poor neighborhood who struggle to survive despite a number of a hardships they encounter. They are taken into the care of their aunt who eventually causes problems for the two sisters.
“Khalti Franca” written by Bilal Fadil and directed by Ali Ragab, will also star Amro Wakid, Hajaj Abdul Atheem, and Maha Amar. Muna will begin shooting of scenes is to begin during mid-March, to be able to prepare for a second film directed by Majid Majdi she is to star in with Mutafa Sha’ban.
Rumors of a possible divorce for Zaki and Ahmad Hilmi’s has filled Egyptian streets and tabloids. The couple’s problems have reached a point where continuing their marriage vows is impossible. After a number of matrimonial disputes have recently took over their lives after only one year into their marriage. Their problems have been increasing as days pass by leading Muna to leave her husband and return to her mother home to spend some time away from Hilmi.
Some people claim that the reason behind all their problems is the fact that Ahmad feels it’s time for them to enter the world of parenthood, a matter which Muna refuses saying its too early in her career. It was added that Muna feared that by having a baby this early in her acting career, she would not be able to receive anymore-leading roles in films. Muna’s family denied that childbearing is not the reason behind their problems and in fact there are a number of issues which the couple are not able resolve. –Albawaba.com
