Prominent Egyptian actress Nadia Al Jundi has reached an agreement with producer Mohammad Foazi to star in the new television drama “Man Atlaq Al Rasas Ala Hind Alaam?” (Who fired the shots on Hind Alaam?).

The drama marks Nadia’s second leading role on the small screen, the first being her role in the series “Mishwar Imra’a” (A Woman’s Journey).

According to the UAE based daily, Al Bayan, the new drama revolves around the life of a journalist, who is married with a son.

The drama depicts her action packed journey as a writer. Eventually she is faced with an assassin who has targeted her, and she begins a quest to find out who is behind her attempted murder.

Nadia has denied disputes between her and Egyptian actress Nabila Obeid.

Nadia revealed that she withdrew from the television series “Raya Wi Iskeena,” in which she was to star alongside Nabila, because she did not think the script suited her.

“I think the drama is too violence to be aired on television,” explained Nadia.

Nabila also withdrew from the series, stating that she had to turn down the offer for the leading role “for personal reasons, and not because the script.”
