For the first time the young Egyptian actress Nelly Karim appeared in a film wearing a Muslim head cover, known as a ‘Hijab.’
Nelly stars in the new film “Wahed-Sifer” (1-0), directed by Kamlah Abu Thikri. The film will also start famous Egyptian actress Elham Shaheen and Khaled Abu Al Naja.
In the film Nelly plays the role of a girl that discovers her father passed away on the day of a soccer game between Egypt and the Cameron, playing for the African Championship. Egypt won the game (1-0). The film takes place in one day and reveals the way soccer games affect the lives of all Egyptians.
