Noor El Sharif in a radio drama series
Famous Egyptian actor Noor El Sharif will be starring in a new radio drama series. El Sharif just started recording the first episodes of the radio show “Al Osta Khamis Rah Paris” (Mr. Khamis Went To Paris).
The new comedy show talks about the life of a simple man where he faces many surprises that change him from an average man to a rich businessman. The show will be aired during Ramadan on Egypt Radio Station after people have the chance to eat their ‘iftar’ (break their fast).
The series is written by Muhammad Al Hafinawi and produced by Muhammad Mish’al. A number of Egyptian actors will be co-staring on the show like: Abed Al Rahman Abu Zahrah, Intisar and Faroq Najeeb, Ahmad Fouad Salim and Muhammad Mitwali.
According to the Qatari daily Al Raya, Noor Al Sharif just finished filming the new drama series “Al Dali”, which will be airing during the holy month of Ramadan. The series is produced by Yousif Sharif Al Deen and a number of new rising actors will be costarring with Noor among them Noor’s daughter Mai Al Sharif.
Al Sharif persuades the role of a famous businessman that becomes a Minister during the Sadat Era. On the other hand many critics thought Al Sharif would be playing the role of the economist Othman Ahmad Othman.
Trying to juggle between television and radio Al Sharif still has time for theater. He will take a role in a play called “Al Lijnah” (The Committee). The play is written by Sana’ Ibrahim and produced by Munir Murad. The play was supposed to be shown this summer; however, Al Sharif was busy filming “Al Dali” and instead it will be shown on the second day of Eid El Fiter “the ending of Ramadan celebration. Manny satellite channels bought rights to air “Al Dali” during Ramadan such as ‘LBC’ and ‘ART’.
On other grounds Al Sharif refused an offer from “Al Sa’a” satellite channel to host a daily show through out Ramadan. Al Sharif made sure that he would never attempt to host another television show after the two shows “Waznak Thahab” (Your Weight in Gold) on Dubai channel and “Egypt Studio” on Dream channel he had hosted in the past and was not very successful at.
