Qamar launches a new song

Lebanese singer Qamar just released a video clip for her new song “Al Yaani” during a celebration at a night club.

According to the London daily Elaph, Qamar was accompanied by Habib Rahal, who had introduced her to the journalists.

Qamar filmed the music video clip for her new song “Al Yaani” under the director Fadi Haddad. Critics claim that she imitated many other artists in her clip.

Qamar appeared in the spotlight almost a year ago and became well-known for her resemblance in looks and music style to the famous Lebanese singer Haifa Whabe.

Qamar is also known for her divorce from the artist Adam. Before the couple split Qamar fired a gun at Adam and he pressed charges against her.  She then took time away from the spotlight.

Rumors claimed that Haifa Wahbe was responsible for ‘Melody Music’s’ decision not to offer Qamar a contract. Qamar eventually signed a contract with the music company ‘Mazika’.
