Lebanese singer Ragheb Alama denied circulating rumors that he has separated from his wife Jihan. The singer also denied the existence of any form of dispute between them, saying that they are enjoying a happy marriage.
According to the Egyptian weekly, Al Nogoom, recent rumors had it that the couple had a huge fight and that Jihan left Ragheb for good. The dispute was over the fact that Jihan found out that Ragheb is involved in an affair with another woman and realized she could not bare such a thing. Ragheb strongly denied having any form of a relationship with another woman stressing the fact that he would never cheat on his wife.
On a different note, Alama is seriously thinking of trying his luck in the business world and opening his own company. Ragheb did not reveal any details regarding the nature of his new business but stated that he is hopeful that his attempts at being a businessman will be as successful as his career as a singer.
Ragheb added that once he is ready to give out more details about his new company he will do so, but for the time being he prefers to keep a tight lid on things. Aside from his new path, Ragheb is currently looking for a female singer to participate in a new duet with him, but he stressed that the singer cannot be one who is already known. Ragheb expressed that he feels a sense of joy when he introduces a new singer to the world and that is why who ever is chosen to sing with him will be chosen based on his condition.
Alama has very recently returned to his singing career, after he had taken some time off after undergoing surgery and surviving a car accident. After the two incidents, the singer had felt that it he was in desperate need of time off to relax and regain his strength. Ragheb's first big event was during the Egyptian spring festival Sham Al Nasim, where the singer held a live concert in celebration of the big event.
The singer is also preparing to take on another journey to Canada where he will hold several concerts in different areas to the Arab population residing there. Ragheb has expressed that he is glad to have returned to his career saying that will away, he had realized that singing is the only medicine that can heal any wounds he has. –Albawaba.com
