The music company ‘Rotana for Sounds and Vision’ surprised everyone in the music industry and fans of Emirati artist Ahlam by launching a new album for her called “Hatha Ana” (This Is Me) last week.
According to the London daily Elaph, the promotional campaign for the new album is huge, and suitable for a great singer like Ahlam who is valued throughout the Arab World. ‘Rotana’ started the promotion for the album by creating a three-dimensional album cover, designed in London.
Ahlam said that the album was launched at the right time to stay in contact with her fans, especially on the occasion of Mother’s Day.
Ahlam also said that the success of her previous album made her feel more compelled to make her new album a success.
The new album “Hatha Ana” includes 14 songs. Ahlam worked with the poet prince Faisal Bin Khaled Bin Sultan on the songs “Ana Tabi’y Kitha” (I’m Normal Like That), composed by Sahem, and “Tawak Fadyet” (You Just Left), composed by Faisal Al Rashed.
Sahem also composed two other songs for Ahlam from the alsum, “Hatha Ana,” written by Faisal Muhammad Al Sidary and the song is “Ma Beh Jadid” (There is Nothing New), written by prince Saud Bin Abdullah.
Ahlam also worked with other great artists like Muhammad Bo Deyeh, and Abudllah Al Qood.
