Rowaished sings for Saba Mubarak’s eyes
Kuwaiti singer Abdullah Rowaished finished recording the theme song for the new Bedouin drama series “Oyoun Alya” (Alya’s Eyes), which is produced by the ‘Arab Press Production Center in Jordan.’ The new series will be aired exclusively on MBC channel during the upcoming Ramadan season. The series stars both Jordanian duo Saba Mubarak and Yaser Al Masri, who starred in last year’s Ramadan season successful Bedouin drama “Nimer Bin Idwan” that was also aired on MBC.
According to the London daily Elaph, the lyrics for the song are written by the Emirati poet Ali Bin Salem Al Ka’bi, who had created many successful Khaliji (Gulf) songs. The song is composed by the Jordanian composer Walid Al Hashim, who has completed the musical picture for the series. The series is written by Mustafa Saleh and directed by Hasan Abu Shairah. The series will be different than many other beduin drama series, where it will have great deal of action.
The making of “Oyoun Alya” was kept a secret by the ‘Arab Production Center’ for a long time. It is estimated that it will attracts the greatest number of fans because of Saba Mubarak who will star in a number of drama series this Ramadan season.
