Moroccan singer Samira Saeed rekindled an old flame between her and her Tunisian fans during her performance at the Carthage festival. Samira's performance drew the largest crowd of any at the festival.
Samira sang a collection of songs in different dialects varying from Moroccan to Egyptian, Lebanese, and even western.
The audience was memorized by her performance and the crowd of fans had her songs memorized by heart, reported the London based Elaph.
Samira recently recovered from a severe bronchial infection. The singer was hospitalized for testing, and it has been advised that she undergo surgery.
Samira fears such an operation may have a negative affect on her vocal capabilities, and has yet to make a final decision regarding the operation.
Samira's latest album "Qaweeni Beek" (Make Me Strong), is holding the number one spot in record sales in Egypt, Lebanon, and UAE, after her two year absence from the scenes.
The song "Qaweeni Beek," also the album title, is taking the number one spot in many song contests on different satellite music channels.
The album was released under Alam El Phan Production Company after numerous delays, but her fans seem to think it was worth the wait.
