Samira Said conquers number one spot

Moroccan singer Samira Said was able to conquer the number one spot in the record market with her latest album "Qaweeni Beek" (Make Me Strong), after an absence from the scenes that lasted two years. The sales of Samira’s album is considered the highest in most Arab countries, like Lebanon, Egypt, the UAE, and many others.
The main song of the album "Qaweeni Beek", which is also the title of the album, is also taking over number one spots in most song contests on different satellite music channels. Samira had finally released her new album under the production of Alam El Phan Production Company. The album had faced continuous delay in the past few months due to last minute changes the singer made.
The singer had filmed the song "Qaweeni Beek" and is exclusively aired on the Arab music channel Mazzika. The Lebanese radio station the Voice of Tomorrow has as well begun broadcasting Samira's song, exclusively as a way of promoting for the album.
In the past couple of months Samira had been encountering several problems within her line of work, but has managed to resolve matters and overcome all obstacles in her way. The singer had been having disputes with Egyptian singer Amr Diab over the song "Laili Nahari", which was the main hit of Amr’s latest album. The problem occurred due to the fact that the song was supposed to be sung by Samira and not Amr. Samira refused to give details regarding her problem with Amr and simply said the matter has been resolved and there are many new songs that are just waiting for people to sing them. She added that she will not allow such problems to interfere with her life and career.
Samira has recently returned from Barcelona Spain, where she filmed a new music video under the direction of British director Greg Miswak. The singer revealed that the idea in her new music video has not been done before and will surely find satisfaction among her fans. –Albawaba.com
