Six years ago Jean Mouawad created a trend called ‘oriental house,’ and since, numerous artists have followed in his footsteps.

Mouawad’s hit single “Alf Layla W Layla” (A Thousand and One Nights) sold over 10,000 copies and the album “Two Thousand and One Nights by Said Mrad,” sold over 22,000 copies in Lebanon alone.

This top producer and arranger is back with a new release titled “Shah Lounge-Music for the Senses.”

The fruit of a year’s work, with the best musicians and the best sounds, he presents one of the best album of its genre.

“Ain’t No Sunshine,” “Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps,” “Akazeb Aalik” (Shall I Lie to You) are just a few of the soon to be hit tracks. When you hear these classic tracks with jean’s rearrangements listeners are sure to fall in love with his music.

Mixing the East and the West, jazz with electro sounds and house, and of course oriental and sensual spirit, Mouawad has produced a CD with no boundaries.

Critic acclaim Jean’s vision will take listeners on a journey into a new cultural and musical dimension.
