Shahin’s “Anger” calls for a speedy end to the “Spice Dealer”

Egyptian actor Nour El Sherif set the 20th of Ramadan as a deadline for the completion of shooting all scenes for “Al Ataar Wal Saba’ Banat” (The Spice Dealer and his Seven Girls). El Sherif asked the director Mohammad Al Nuqaili to abide by the deadline and double his efforts to meet it. 

El Sherif told the London based daily, Al Sharq Al Awsat, that they are pressed with such a limited amount of time due to the fact that he and producer Yousif Shahin need to free themselves to begin filming their new movie “Al Ghadab” (Anger) by January.  

The daily also added that El Sherif will be travelling to Kuwait by end of the month to perform in the play “Lan Tasqut Al Quds” (Jerusalem Shall Not Fall) in one of the country’s theater houses. 

On a lighter note, El Sherif had asked the director to hold a small celebration for the completion of the drama featuring all the actors. El Sherif also requested the holiday in order to mend differences that arouse among Sumaia El Ulfi, Majida Zaki, and Rania Farid Shawqi with regards to the order their names were put in the script. 

“Al Attar wa al Sabe’ Banat” (The Spice Dealer and the Seven Girls) is directed by Mohammed Al Naqli and written by screenwriter Mustafa Moharram. The series, which will show a new style with camera dealing, stars Nour El Sherif, Sawsan Badr, Sumaya al Alfi, Hala Fakher, Emad Rashad, Rania Fareed Shawki and many others.  

El Sherif plays two different characters. Playing the character of the father ‘Al Hag Saleh’ and the son ‘Abdul Rahman’, who carries the profession of spice dealing after his father’s death, al Sherief will be delivering a new vision about family life amid the cultural and social changes over the years. ‘Abdul Rahman’, despite all difficulties, will succeed in making a fortune with the help of his seven girls. – Albawaba.com
