Journalist Lucy Shalabi has denied rumours that her husband, renowned Egyptian actor, Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, is dead.
Shalabi has said the rumours, which started on the Internet, had upset the family greatly, and that Aziz is fighting spirit.
The actor is currently working with director Shari Al Bandari and Mohamad Al Azab on the new film “Awdatain Wa Salah” (Two Rooms and a Living Room).It is thought that Aziz has the leading role in the film. It will be the Egyptian stars first return to the silver screen in four years after his last film “Ibrahim Al Abyad”.
