Kuwaiti artist Shams intends to sue the Lebanese artist Yara over her new album “Inta Mini.”

Shams claims that she owns the rights to the second song on the album, “Hess Aynak.”  Shams said the poet Amir Taymah and composer Samir Ali transferred the rights of the song to her over a year ago and that she was going to include the song on her upcoming album.

According to the London daily Elaph, Yara asserts that the American company “Surprise” owns the rights to the song.

“Hess Aynak” has been a great success.

The song “Ahlan Izayak” (Hello How Are You!), sung in the Egyptian dialect, has also been successful, along with the video clip.

Shams hopes to sing more songs in the Egyptian dialect.
