Everyone was surprised with Sharihan’s unexpected arrival at Cairo airport after having been in Paris undergoing medical test for the treatment of cancer. It was announced that she is completely cured from cancer and can now resume her life as a healthy individual. Her husband and family accompanied her on her husband’s private plane.
According to the Kuwaiti daily, Al Rai Al Aam, the actress’s appearance reflected that her health condition was stable and she looked. Sharihan refused to make any announcements except that she thanks God and all those who stood by her side while she was undergoing surgeries and extensive treatment. It was revealed that Sharihan’s return is a final one where she will resume her normal life before she left to Paris to undergo treatment for cancer.
Doctors supervising the health condition of Sharihan had announced that the actress’s test results show great improvement, but at the time preferred that for the time being in Paris to undergo more tests to be sure that cancerous tumors are no longer present.
Doctors had reduced the number of tests from twice a week to once a week due to the tremendous progress Sharihan has showed. The actress had to postpone her return to Cairo for a little while longer and until she is fully cured of and it is certain that the cancerous cells are not reproducing.
Her doctors told her that the tests have to be made in order to make certain that no more cancerous tumors are present in her body. Sharihan will not be able to leave France for at least another month ruining her previous plans to return within a couple of days. Doctors told her that the result of the tests need at least three weeks, and after that period, a decision will be made if she can return to Egypt or if she must stay a bit longer in France to undergo additional treatment.
It was noted that the actress's psychological state has improved a great deal, and she is more positive about her health and is hopeful that she will return to her home in no time. Sharihan had returned to Egypt earlier this year, despite strict doctors orders to be with her daughter and family after being away for so long.
After months of critical treatment for cancerous tumors and after countless rumors of her deformation and even death, Sharihan returned to Egypt alive and in good condition. Standing alongside her husband, Palestinian businessman Alaa Al Khawaja, Sharihan stood with her ever so popular smile thankful to have returned to her home expressing her appreciation to all those who stood by her side throughout her illness.
On October 14, 2002, doctors announced that the face of Sharihan would never return to normal, after an 18-hour surgery she underwent in Pitie Salpetriere hospital, in Paris. Her secretary Jamal Anwar assured then that the stars state is still stable, and that doctors are still prohibiting visits to Sharihan to avoid any unexpected side effects. –Albawaba.com
