The famous Egyptian artist Shireen Abed Al Wahab has returned to the spotlight after taking time off to care for her husband music distributer Muhammad Mustafa while he was ill.
She hosted a live concert at the Moroccan musical festival “Mowazeen,” drawing thousands of fans that were singing along with her songs.
According to the London daily Elaph, Shireen has finished recording most of the12 songs for her new album. Shireen worked with her husband Muhammad on three songs from the new album. The rest of the songs were distributed by Tareq Madkour and Ahmad Ibrahim.
Shireen worked with the poets Ayman Bahjat Qamar, Hani Abed Al Karim, Nader Abdullah, Muhammad Rifa’y and Amir Taymah. Shireen had also worked with the composers Tamer AShour, Tamer Ali, Walid Saed and Khaled Iz.
It is needless to say that Shireen finished recording the introduction and conclusion song for the television drama series “Layali”. The song is written by poet Ayman Bahjat Qamar and composed by Amr Ismail.
