Prominent Egyptian singer Shireen revealed that she is preparing for a new surprise for her fans after succeeding in directing various video clips. Shireen announced after she decided to try her luck in TV directing and is currently reading a 33-episode TV drama to direct.
According to the Qatar based daily, Al Raya, Shireen is seriously thinking of directing the television drama and intends on playing the leading role in it. Shireen refused to give further details about the TV drama until she confirms the deal with the production company.
Shireen has announced the breakup of her engagement to Egyptian businessman and concert coordinator, Issam, after the two have been together for less than a year. Shireen has already begun to appear on her own at different occasions, after being always accompanied by Assam, who acted as her personal business manager throughout their relationship.
Shireen held a concert at Marina in Egypt without the company of Issam and commented that the two are having some problems. The news of the breakup spread immediately after that with many questions rising as to what is the main reason behind the sudden separation, especially after the two had repeatedly appeared to be so much in love.
Shireen had announced her engagement to Issam a few months ago and held a private engagement party in her home, which consisted of her family and producer Naser Mahrous, whom she made up with recently, in addition to her fiancé’s family.
Shireen had stressed that her marriage would not affect her music career, and that she plans on resuming her journey, especially since the upcoming period marks such an important one with the success she is accomplishing. -Albawaba.com
