Egyptian singer Shireen known for the hit single “Ah Ya Lail” (Oh Night), has announced that she will release her first solo album after the success she achieved in her joint album with Egyptian singer Tamer Hosni, reported by the Egyptian daily Al Gomhuria.

The new album will be a collection of songs under the titles “Ma Tijrahneesh” (Don’t Hurt Me), “Fakirni” (Do You Remember Me), “Ah Lao Gani Tani” (Oh If He Comes Again). The songs are written by the poets Ahmad Shata and Baha Al Din, and composed by Abo Al Soud, Riad Al Hamshari, and Hamdi Sadiq.

Shireen told the daily that aside from recording the songs for her new album, she is currently preparing to shoot scenes for her first film “Mido Mashakil” (Troubled Mido) with Egyptian actor Ahmad Hilmi, as a new experience. She added that she is to perform some of her songs throughout the film.

After completing a large portion of the scenes for the new movie, the singer said that she will go back to the recording studios to complete new songs for her upcoming release. The singer plans to divide her time between the recording studio and the film studio saying that being put under pressure helps her achieve more success. –Albawaba.com
