The two Egyptian young actresses Hala Shiha and Sumayyah al Khashab protested against the big number of kisses in the new film Hobb Fi Hobb (love in love) which marks the cinema debut of the singer Majd al Qasem.

Hala Shiha requested the alleviation of the romantic scenes she plays in the film scripted by Ashraf Shtaiwi and is currently being shot by director Samih Mansi.

The film scenes include 45 cinema kisses, 20 of which involve Hala in addition to her scenes in which she appears wearing Bikini on the beach.

However, this takes us back to the scenes of the film Abi Fawq al Shagara (my father on top of the tree) costarred by the late Egyptian singer Abdel Halim Hafez and Nadia Lutfi and which included an unprecedented number of cinema kissing.

“The film belongs to the romantic genre and is about a young man who finds himself in love with two girls simultaneously. The scenes in the script including the kisses are justified and do not constitute a lure for the audience. These do not need this objection by the two film stars Hala Shiha and Sumayyah al Khashab,” Qasem told the London based Arabic daily al Sharq al Awsat -- Albawaba.com
