The famous Egyptian superstar Tamer Hosny has decided to replace the young Egyptian actress May Iz Al Deen in his new film “Noor Aini” (The Light OF My Eye).
Tamer is planning to start filming in the next few weeks to have the film ready for the summer season.
Tamer shocked the director of the film Wael Ihsan and the producer Muhammad Al Sabki when he announced that he wanted a replacement for May. He justified his request over May’s refusal to postpone filming the television drama series “Qadyet Safyeh” (Safyeh’s Case).
Several members of the crew and production company working on the film did not support his decision.
The story of the film, written by Tamer, is about a young guy named Noor who teaches at a music college. Noor eventually finds fame and in the process falls deeply in love with a blind woman.
