Young Egyptian superstar Tamer Husni is getting ready to launch his new album titled “Arab Kaman” (Get Closer).

According to the London daily Elaph, Tamer’s new CD includes 14 songs, although only 12 are featured on the cassette tape to persuade fans to purchase the CD.

Tamer composed nine of the songs on his new album and wrote seven.

Producer Naser Mahrous wrote two songs on the album, “Albi Eli Habak” (My heart that loved you) and “Rouh Albi” (My Heart’s Soul), both released solely on the CD.

Tamer worked with other poets like Muhammad Atef on the song “Dayeb” (Melted), composed by Rami Jamal. He worked with the poet Abeer Al Razaz on the song “Bikilmah Netsalih” (With one word we make up), composed by Ali Shaban.

Tamer also worked with Abed Al Aziz Al Shafiy and Jamal Kholi on the new album.

Tamer’s new album includes 4 songs from his new film “Captain Hima,” to be screened this week.  All fours songs are written and composed by Tamer.

Tamer also decided to film a music video clip for the song “Ma Twasineesh” (Don’t ask me) that will be directed by Naser Mahrous in the near future.
