Walid Tawfiq launches album in Syria

The Syrian well-known radio station “Al Madina” held a huge celebration for Lebanese singer Walid Tawiq, who was a guest on their station. Tawfiq was live on air for three hours during his visit to Syria. Tawfiq had held a grand performance in Syria and was accompanied by Lebanese singer Yara.
The radio station Al Madina celebrated Tawfiq’s launching of his new album “Ya Baher” (The Sea) by bringing him a cake that holds the cover of the new album printed on the cake.
According to the London daily Elaph, Tawfiq talked to the radio host Faroq Durzi about the preparation of his new album and about working with poet Nizar Francis and a number of different poets and composers. The making of the new album lasted for two years where Tawfiq hopes that his fans throughout the Arab world will be satisfied with the outcome and pointed out to the positive outcome of the first day the album was released.
Tawfiq’s concert was held in the Syrian capital at “Jadona” restaurant with Yara and the place was filled with loyal fans. There are 11 new songs in “Ya Baher” album that were written and composed by a number of different poets and composers. Tawfiq produced and paid for the making of his new album and ‘AMA Arabala’ Distribution Company distributed the album.
Tawiq has been busy throughout the summer season. He sang in live concerts in different parts of the Arab world and Europe. Tawfiq’s upcoming live tour will take place in Australia.
