The White House confirmed on Sunday that the landmark agreement Iran clinched with world powers on its disputed nuclear program will take effect from Jan. 20, Agence France-Presse reported.
The giant gas field beneath the waters of the Gulf, which Iran calls South Pars and Qatar calls the North Field, accounts for nearly all of the tiny Gulf state’s gas output, and around 60 per cent of its export revenues.
The meeting brings together some 2,500 top business leaders, international political leaders, selected intellectuals and journalists to discuss the most pressing issues facing the world, including health and the environment.
