An Iraqi security source says members of Daesh have abducted approximately 30 people in the troubled northern province of Nineveh, as they continue to wreak havoc in the areas under their control.
Jordan will release Iraqi prisoner Sajida Mubarak Atrous al-Rishawi in exchange for the captured pilot, Mu'ath Kasasbeh, according to a government spokesperson.

Unconfirmed reports on Arabic media perport Daesh militants have threatened to kill both Jordanian pilot Mu'ath al-Kaseasbeh and Japanese hostage Kenji Goto if Jordan fails to release Sajida al-Rishawi within 24 hours.
“With immediate effect, we have suspended all flights to Baghdad. The safety of our customers and employees is always our first priority,” Etihad Airways said in a statement.
