US CENTCOM said eleven villages were reclaimed by Kurdish Peshmerga troops and coalition air support in Iraq's northern province of Kirkuk.

After several failed attempts to retake swaths of northern Iraq from Daesh over the last several months, Iraqi Shiite militias and Kurdish Peshmerga are forming a wary alliance to retake Kirkuk.
A power station will come up on a sprawling 50,000 sq m land at Dagharah area, while another one will be built on a 50,000 to 60,000 sq m site at Al-Suniyah area (image: on file).
