The Jordanian government has instructed its ambassador in Tel Aviv to return home due to what Amman says is "unprecedented Israeli escalation in Jerusalem."
Speaking at a meeting to announce the formation of the committee, Wael Suleiman, executive director of Catholic relief organisation Caritas in Jordan, noted that around 100 to 150 new Iraqi refugees arrive in Jordan every day from Erbil after leaving their homes in Mosul and Nineveh.
The four men, whose ages range between 18 and 24, are said to be members of the hard-line Jihadi Salafist movement.
