The Jordanian ambassador who was kidnapped in Libya last month has been freed.

"When we discussed with Jordanian authorities how public money should be spent, we proposed more expenditure on health and education, and less on energy subsidies,” Lagarde explained.

Jordan has agreed to hand over a Libyan militant in exchange for the release of its ambassador who was kidnapped in Libya in April.

Stressing that the Kingdom was no longer in the economic danger zone, he mentioned that foreign currency reserves went up from $6.6 billion in 2012 to around $12 billion at the end of last year and that the remittances of expatriates have gone up noticeably.

Jordan's third refugee camp in Azraq has received it first group of Syrian refugees ahead of its official opening that is scheduled for later this week.
