US spokesperson Jen Psaki called on both Israel and Lebanon to "respect the blue line" between both countries and condemned yesterday's Hezbollah attack, which left two Israeli soldiers dead.

A UNIFIL soldier – part of a Spanish unit – was also killed in the violence.

Earlier Wednesday, a UNIFIL peacekeeper was killed in cross border fire, while Israel's military said two soldiers were killed and seven wounded.
