In renewed negotiations with the militant group, mediator Sheikh Wissam al-Masri said Daesh presented three new demands for the release of the 25 Lebanese servicemen hostages, including the release of all female Muslim detainees in Lebanese prisons, a weapons-free zone for Arsal, and the creation of a civilian hospital to aid refugees.

Three fishermen were fired upon by the Syrian navy off the coast of northern Lebanon Wednesday. Sources say the fishermen were detained while their boat was seized.
