A disturbing video showing a Palestinian boy being taunted by Israeli onlookers moments after being critically wounded by Israeli police is making rounds on social media this week, as the situation inside the West Bank and Jerusalem grows increasingly more volatile.
The clip followed an incident Monday in the Pisgat Zeev settlement near East Jerusalem, where Israeli police said two Palestinian youths—identified by Ma'an news as Ahmad, 12, and Muhammad Manasra, 14, from Beit Hanina—attacked two Israeli settlers, 13 and 25, with knives. The video appears to be shot moments after police shot dead Ahmad and seriously wounded Muhammed, who appears on the sidewalk in the clip.
This isn't the first footage to surface from the escalating violence in Jerusalem in recent days—just last week, CCTV caught footage of an East Jersalem grocery store being raided and its owner beaten by Israeli security forces in pursuit of a young Palestinian. But it's probably the most disturbing.
"Die you son of a wh*re," one onlooker yells, as another tells police to "give" the boy "one in the head."
In another scene, a police officer is seen pushing Muhammed down with his foot as he tries to get up. The clip went viral online this week before being removed from YouTube.
In ongoing violence, Monday saw three reported stabbing attacks in areas across Jerusalem, bringing to 30 the number of Palestinians who have died since Oct. 1. The Palestinian Authority's Health Ministry says at least 1,990 have been injured in the same period. And the violence doesn't seem to be falling off anytime soon.

The police claimed that the boys stabbed two settlers, wounding them.A settler who chased the boys with his car also rammed Ahmad. Over 1200 Palestinians have been injured, many of them hit by live ammunition fired by Israeli troops at Palestinian demonstrators armed only with stones.During that time period, no Israelis have been killed beyond the two who died in the October 1st attack, but six have been wounded in alleged attacks by Palestinians.
