10 dead in Iraq attacks
A bomb went off at a school in Baghdad's Shiite district of Sadr City, killing five people, including four students, Iraqi officials said. According to the AP, the blast took place at about 1 p.m.. It also wounded at least 34 people, said an Iraqi police official. A Ministry of Interior official confirmed the casualties.
Also Monday, gunmen stormed a checkpoint north of Baghdad, killing five members of a Sunni anti-al-Qaeda group, according to a police official.
