An Algerian security official said 13 people have been killed in two bombings at a train station. According to the AP, the security official conveyed the first bomb killed a French citizen and his Algerian driver.

A second bomb minutes later was apparently timed to explode as security forces and rescue workers arrived at the train station in Beni Amrane, 60 miles east of the capital. Both bombs were apparently operated by remote control.
