Bahraini protestors arrested after firebombing foreign ministry
Four protestors have been arrested in Bahrain after allegedly firebombing the foreign ministry, AP reported on Tuesday.
According to the Interior Ministry, the suspects hurled homemade molotov cocktails at the building but did not cause any injuries or serious damage.
The attack marks a possible escalation in the demonstrations that have been going on for over 2 years. Bahrain's government, which is led by the Sunni minority have repeatedly been accused of marginalizing their Shia majority.
Human rights organizations say Bahraini authorities have used excess force to quell protests and tortured activists in their custody.
