The Egyptian Health Ministry confirmed two more cases of swine flu Monday. The two additional cases of Influenza A/H1N1 were spotted in a dormitory at The American University in Cairo, and now there are three confirmed cases in Egypt.
There have been isolated cases of swine flu in the Middle East. Two cases have been confirmed in Saudi Arabia, while others have been confirmed in Kuwait, Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates. 48 cases have been confirmed in Israel. It is believed they generally come from travelers.
In its latest update Friday, the World Health Organization said there were 21,940 cases in 69 countries, with 125 deaths from the virus.
