Egypt beat Algeria 2-0 in tense World Cup qualifier match in Cairo

Egypt on Saturday beat Algeria 2-0 in the World Cup qualifier match in Cairo, sending the two teams for a crucial play-off match in Sudan on November 18. Zaki in the 2nd minute and Aboutreika in the last seconds of the match scored for the winners.
Ahead of the game, Egypt has imposed strict security measures to prevent any violence. Units of anti riot police were deployed everywhere inside and around the stadium. A security cordon was established around the stadium where some 70,000 Egyptians and 2000 Algerians spectators attended.
